Winner of NBC's hit reality series "Last Comic Standing," comedian John Heffron has become the comic to watch and love. The Detroit funnyman, who Phyllis Diller referred to as "the cute one," has won a talent contract with NBC as well as other great opportunities.    He has made numerous television appearances including NBC’s “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,” “The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn,” his own half-hour “Comedy Central Presents” special, and many others. Additionally, he has also performed at the prestigious Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal as well as the HBO Comedy Festival in Aspen.

John grew up in nearby South Lyon and started his comedy career as a student at Eastern Michigan University, skipping night classes to perform stand-up comedy. He got his first gig as an emcee right here at the Ann Arbor Comedy Showcase.  Since then he’s invented a card game (The That Guy Game), spent 5 years as Danny Bonaduce's radio sidekick on 95.5 Detroit, been seen on all the late night talk shows, and cut a deal for his own TV show.
